If this is for free, then it really must be crap.

Microsoft must think it won't get them any revenue so they are doing this

Everyone likes Windows 7 anyways so why bother getting Windows 8 or 10

Just because something is free doesn't entitle it to be crap, although you do make an interesting point.

iOS updates are free. Android updates are free. Mac OS updates are free. Ubuntu updates are free. Chrome updates are free. Firefox updates are free. And I'm sure there's 1000+ programs out there with free updates that are great products.

My point being that there are many products out there with free updates. Like @sea said, just because something is free doesn't mean it's crap.

I wonder if I'm going to get rage for iOS and Mac OS...
