What are your thoughts On hacktivist group anonymous.

Hey MPGH i just wanted to know what your thoughts about anonymous are!

I honestly think it's pretty cool. But they kind of failed here in Singapore, they made a bunch of threats and were like 'on this day, to support us, everyone wear red' or something but nothing ever happened...

Hmm well then they dont know how to do it because here in the USA and in england and stuff you should see the stuff that happens.

I haven't seen much action on the group's behalf.
Seems pretty cool though.

I'm really fascinated with these things even though I have no idea what's going on xD

Singapore is a very powerful nation, Anonymous can't do shit.

Also I just adore the Guy Fawkes mask, I own a couple myself and wear them around

They are not a group, They are anyone who wants to be Anonymous they are and idea not a group like most people think. Anyone can be apart of anonymous even if they cant hack.

Anonymous isent taken seriously anymore (and was never ment to be) it was a joke to fuck with scientolgy and now its turned into a cancer worshipped by 12 years or script kiddies alike

There may be that part of anonymous but there is still the part that knows what there doing they may have started off of 4chan but they still know whats going on.

Although anonymous can hack really good, I must agree that it's full of 12-14 y/o fanboys that think that they can hack, which is annoying as fuck.

I thought they were awesome. It got me excited that there could be this group of people on the internet who were very computer savvy and revolutionary, and could make a difference. Since observing their activities over a time, though, that completely faded. At this point they're pretty much a joke. I don't understand why people talk about them so seriously. Literally all they do is take down websites for a few hours. Or lock people out of their social media accounts. Like...really? How does that impact anything whatsoever? Its just like an annoyance that the people have to deal with for a couple of hours. It makes no difference. It seemed to me, and still does, that if you truly have great hacking capabilities, you could probably actually do some stuff that could make a difference. Release information, alter things, or something. But they just shut websites down for a few hours. They do nothing of any significance. It's kind of a joke.

Tl:dr : At first it thought they were awesome, but turned out they were closet fags who took down websites. acting like it made a difference by closing websites & socialmedia accounts

anonymous is just anyone on the internet that doesn't want to be tied to a organisation and want to hack something for their own beliefs

What are your thoughts On hacktivist group anonymous.
