Making a forum poster
Hi i'm working in a little project on microsoft visual basic 2010 express, i need source code / help to do:

- Post a new thread
- put a title (title will be one of text box)
- Write into body (will be info into text boxs)
- Submit the thread

I have

Private Sub Form2_Load(sender As System.Object, e As System.EventArgs) Handles MyBase.Load

webBrowser2.Navigate("forumlink.com/forum/newthread.php?do=newthread&f=440")

End Sub

Private Sub Button1_Click(sender As System.Object, e As System.EventArgs) Handles Button1.Click
ListBox1.Items.Add(TextBox1.Text & "" & TextBox2.Text & TextBox3.Text & TextBox4.Text & TextBox5.Text)
webBrowser2.Document.GetElementById("subject").Set Attribute("value", ListBox1.Text)
webBrowser2.Document.Write(ListBox1.Text)

End Sub
I replace the original forum link with "forumlink"

Thanks for help

Don't use a web-browser use HttpWebRequest / HttpWebResponse.

Jason wrote a thread on it a while back: http://www.mpgh.net/forum/33-visual-...se-forums.html

That post uses an obfuscated .dll and doesn't actually show how the httpwebrequest/response classes are used?
That just help me to login into forum and i've already do that with webbrowser, i need to make a thread and post in it. (webbrowser better)

How does it feel to need? What is your question...

you already used webBrowser.Document.GetElementById(***).SetAttribu te(****)

So, set the text boxes you need to set and invoke the submit button.? Not many people will write the whole code for you (even if it's not many lines) - we're here to help you learn, not give you working code.. So tell us which part is giving you trouble, AND what you've tried to do to solve it. "i need" isn't a question, and obviously (generally) doesn't get you much help.
