Help with PROGRAMMING!

Hello i am new to programming and i really want to get started into posting hacks for our community.
i feel bad because all i do is look up a hack and complain if it does not work and i don't have to do anything, wilst the people who coded the programs/tools tried hard to make the code.
so i really want to give a shot at programming and posting hacks for others because i am really into hacking/programming.
but the think is, is that i don't know what code to start on. now i want to learn C++ first or c# but i want to know what other people use to code and which is most popular.
any help will be greatly appreciated

The best way, in my opinion, is to take a course at your local community college or university. If you can't do that, the next best shot is getting a textbook for c++, there are plenty of recommendations in the stickies for such books. If you can't get a physical book, then go on youtube for a tutorial on installing visual studio, and toy around.

There isn't an easy way about this, even after months of learning, you won't be at the level for writing your own hack. There are a vast number of dataypes and API functions that you'll run across. If you throw enough quality time at it though, you should be able to pick it up. Stick around, read the stickies, and diversify your programming interests (don't just do it for the game hacking)

There's quite a few people that has their opinion about starting with C++.

As for myself, I started with C++, later went to C#.
C++ can be a quite hard language to understand, but the syntax i love!

In my opinion I think you should start with C++, since you will have a damn easy time going over to other languages.

And when it comes to starting to learn it, it all depends on your best learning style.
Some learn best my reading, some hearing and some literally doing it.

I personally think you should go for a book, since they are the best way of learning.
If you're not the kind of reader person, (if you are that's great), but if not. Just try to read 10 - 20 pages each night.

In my opinion, people should start off with either Python or Java, or maybe C++.

Python is the easiest of the three. It will give you a good idea of what programming is like.
Java is a little trickier, but it should'nt be a problem.
C++ is more trickier than Java. I wouldn't really recommend jumping right into C++, but if you go through with it, you'll be rewarded with a better understanding of programming since it really makes you dig into programming.
