Do we exist?

Completely serious question. How can we know that we actually exist?

I think, therefore, I am.

Cognition via a faulty brain proves existence? Also, how can we know our perception of reality is accurate?

(I should mention this isn't a debate, just an explorative discussion)

Reality is as we perceive it. For all we know, what we describe as "individuality" could all just be a hallucination you or a greater being may be having. So regardless if you see pink and purple elephants, or you see the normal world, it will be as you see it. So like, i'm hitting this bowl. I know i'm hitting a bowl. I know that if I inhale it, i'm gonna get high. But I also know, that if I hit the bowl, it isn't going to turn into a 16 foot tall giraffe. But should that happen, it would be my screwed up perception of reality.

Existence is what YOU make of it.

I thought of this before what if life is just your dream your the only real human theres not really a way to tell...

Well, that's a good question. I guess we are all just matter. Or dark matter.

Well. I thought this for a bit. But then There is a couple reasons:
1. I wouldnt be Christian then.
2.Its not like were a video game.
3. We do what we want. Would a video game player make me type this?

That's exactly what i'm implying! Whether we actually exist or not is not for us to debate, it just is. Now actually KNOWING this answer would be actually answering the questions physicists have been asking since the 50's-60's. What came before the big bang?

Hold up, how did you go from a metaphysical discuss to the big bang?
How does know that question, answer the origin of the cosmos?
Reality stands in and of itself, we experience reality, reality isn't subject to us.

You argue perspective flawing existiential evidence, yet perspective itself is proof we exist. One's own reality is only possible because of a standard reality. Einstein already proved the universe exists in his relativity theories. Although, I think therefore I am, should cover it unless you're just overthinking it. In fact, if we further debate this (actually on topic) it'd be a boring display of what-if's and kiddo arguments. New subject sir!
