Because sometimes nightmares can haunt people for a life time. I can speak from personal experience that sometimes dreams are 10x worse than reality.

Before I used to know the word "Bitch" or "Fuck" i didn't mind anyone calling me that, but know it effects me.
Let's take the word "twisztsz" right know it's a made up word, but if it catches on for so long as a good or bad word then it effects you. Same applies to what OP is saying.
