When I run server.exe as administrator it just crashes. Any suggestions?

I added a password for user:root on phpmyadmin, but now whenever I try to go on it says access denied with this exact messge:
"phpMyAdmin tried to connect to the MySQL server, and the server rejected the connection. You should check the host, username and password in your configuration and make sure that they correspond to the information given by the administrator of the MySQL server."

Ok the tutorial is good but what you mean saying click 127.0.0.1 and presse enter? and when i put 127.0.0.1 in search bar it results a XAMPP page with no login or things like this
