Oh Witcher 3

I really like loading screens in "open-world" games, too.

"12 hours in, level 7. I'm still just jumping in circles, swinging around the sword in huge circles. Oh. I'm in danger, roll out of the way then. Back to crouching tiger hidden dragon leaping sweeping sword play."

This game didn't even look that appealing to me when it was first showcased and seeing that I never heard of the Witcher series before in my life I already knew I wasn't gonna fuck with it.

1st and 2nd Witcher were amazing, this one not so much. Although I don't think people buy the Witcher games so much so for action, but more for plot and dialogue. That's the best thing about Witcher 3 in my opinion.

Dunno. the cut scenes/dialog doesn't make up for everything else imo. Just seems so generic and casual, don't have to work for fuck all.

I wasn't much for the series to begin with. However when I actually tried them, I quite enjoyed it. But, this seems like such a far cry from what this series once was.
