Right, i don't post in the anime/manga section very often but i do read the latest thread about every day.
The amount of recommendation threads there are is just ridiculous and people respond with the same series/movies.
The news thread would have monthly updates on series, and just general news about the creators or new animes/mangas.
Would it not just be easier to have an anime news thread?

people come and go to post recommendations and never bother to fucking look 3 threads down and see there already is one.
