Minecon 2012 Cape CODE

I'm trying to build an account with all 4 years of Minecon capes. There are plenty of (expensive) 2011 accounts out there, so that first cape isn't much of a problem. There are still (expensive) 2013 cape codes going around, so that one isn't very difficult to get either. I can just add it to a 2011 account. There was no "Minecon 2014", and the Minecon 2015 cape hasn't been released yet. When it is though, cape codes are going to fly around for pocket change.

Basically, as you can see, it's not too difficult to get an account with 2011, 2013, and 2015. It might be expensive, but it's not hard. The problem is getting a 2012 cape onto the account.

The only way I can do that is if I have a 2012 cape code, or an account with BOTH a 2011 cape and a 2012 cape.

Bump! Just a question: Do these even exist anymore? A code going unused since 2012 does seem unlikely.

Wait, they've EXPIRED?! Like, they don't work anymore?! Oh dear....................then I shall have to delete this thread as well and look for a 2011 + 2012 base. I will keep you in mind if I'm unable to find an account with both.

Wow, i didn't know that, that's first i've seen that they don't expire, but i'm sure that either the email has been lost or no one actually knows about these kind of websites that has one

They are pretty expensive. I doubt you'd find one under $100. Have you tried ebay?

lol YES. Ebay was first stop. I think I need to check MC-Market.

And about price, $100 is cheap AF! I'm willing to pay north of $500.

Hey there! Pleased to meet you. You made a post on my [WTS] thread regarding my quest to find an unused 2012 cape code. I thought I'd ask you more about it.

1st: To start off, could you please specify exactly which convention's cape code you have? The one held in 2012, 2013, or the upcoming one in 2015?

2nd: Secondly, I will require some proof. What I'd prefer is a picture of you computer screen showing the email containing the code. Next to your screen you should place a card, or a piece of paper, with your forum name (WhyAlice) written on it. You can cover up the code itself with tape, or a finger even. Maybe leave a small part of it showing just so I know it's there. Something like these people, who was selling keyboards: http://deskthority.net/resources/image/21910

3rd: Thirdly, would you be willing to go first in our deal, or would you prefer a middle man?

4th: Fourthly, do you have a price in mind? I know you're a new member, but you seemed to show interest in this thread right after I mentioned just how much I'd be willing to pay. I just thought you should know that the $500 amount I mentioned would have been fine if I would have gotten an account with all three capes, or at least two (2011 & 2012).
With just a 2012 cape code, I don't think it would be fair for me to pay that much. I'll put down the offer of $150. What do you think?
