Im trying to mod and complete mods like finishing my Arctic WOlf or making m16 as a golden ak, but the m16 is golden ak colors. I need to get models. Anybody know how?
Extract the Guns_T_ rez of your choice.
Copy and paste the following files of the gun you want another gun to look like into another folder: PVMLA_GunName, PVMLA_W_GunName, and PVMSA_GunName (or something similar to those three. you will know them if you see them.
(for ex: i copied the files for the g36e in my mod)
Rename all those files to the names they have for the other gun (for ex: PVMLA_G36E gets changed to PVMLA_M16A3 if you want the m16 to show as the g36)
Make sure you get the names right. Sometimes they are strange (Desert Eagle is Deagle, double barrel shotty is DoubleShotgun, etc).
When you are done, inject into the the Guns_M rez again.
go into the game folder and find the original Guns_M file. there should be the .rez, and a .rezNEW. Move the .rez to another folder, and rename the .reznew to .rez
run CA, and the first gun should now look like the one with the files you renamed.
there are a few things you should know with this.
Only guns of the same class are compatible (AR to AR, SG to SG, SR to SR)
Not all guns have the files i talked about, you cannot do this with those guns)
if a gun has 1 or 2 of these files, just use those two.
so if a gun which has 5 files, can it be compatible with one which has 3?
no, no gun has any more than those 3 files.
it may have weird files like CH_WH_GunName_SH.ltb files or something similar, or ANIBASE_GunName.ltb, but the ones i said are the only ones that count right now.
To my knowledge .ltb is from _M_ files, and no you can't edit those files.
