updatecheck.exe

So my cousin in law got a trojan on his pc when we turn on the internet we get a pop up on eset that it is constantly deleting. The program was called updatecheck.exe he got from one of the download a new version of flashplayer. Anyone know a fix for it? Without resetting the pc cuz he wants to keep all his info.
