Crossfire error while launching!

Hello!

I have recently been getting this error when I launch crossfire:
I have yet been able to find a fix anywhere on the internet
A lot of people have said "just reinstall the game like it says"! Well ive done that and its back again!

Please help me D:
I have even sent a ticket to z8games support center

It's about a virus/old hack or something like that. Try to find and delete it... otherwise format your PC. And about how to solve it, do the following: un-install the game and delete any remaining file/folder; download the latest client; re-install the game but don't launch it nor update it. Once done, go to CrossFire directory (right click on CF's icon>>Properties>>Search directory) and right click on 'version.ini'>>Properties, then enable 'Read only' box. That should be enough, but remember, it's a temporary solution, you will still have the virus or whatever causes it, so you won't be able to update the game else if you download each new client is released...
