using photoshop, you have to have so many frames, and keys.. unreal.
Mine's 28 frames.
The process to do mine was:
0) type the text
1) copy the top layer
2) paste into a new layer
3) erase a little
4) back to 1 until no text is left.
As for the background, you'd just need to copy it again each layer or use a script that does it automatically.
Again, long not hard.
Btw, if you believe that took you alot... this definetly took me alot more (150 frames) :

done, at first i thought i'd only need to make the layers, but then of course i also needed to sort them one by one into the animation thingie at the bottom, i don't know why PS must make some things so difficult lol.
Well... maybe in this case it'd even be easier, especially if i'd need to put other things behind/in front.
