Protection on swf files?

So I was trying to hack a flash game, and opened it up in swf decompiler, but whenever I try opening one of the as files, the decompiler crashes.
From what I found online, this means it has protection, is there any way around it?

Hey, may I ask what game you are trying to hack? Also I haven't run into any issue with sothink swf decompiler.

Please make your researches. If you manage to find out in which way they can place these "traps" for decompilers you might be able to reverse it.
