Riddle me this.

Riddle me this, riddle me that. Tis be the day you are known for being a twat.

Let's start easy;

Riddle #1
Imagine you are swimming in the ocean and a bunch of hungry sharks surround you. How do you get out alive?

Too easy right?

Riddle #2
I'm light as a feather, yet the strongest man can't hold me for more than 5 minutes. What am I?

Does a pound of gold or a pound of feathers weight more?

Honestly I couldn't do any of them, would love to see some of you try.

4th one is obvious, 1st is trash trick riddle, 2nd one is misleading a bit, 3rd is meh.

I like intellectual/thinking riddles not trick ones :S

4th one actually isn't the answer I think you assume it is. [As stated by our lovely MNSubaru]

You can take four of the five letters out of this word, but the pronunciation never changes. What is the word?

5- 87. Look upside down.
6- Fill Both. Send the 5 cup milk to the jug. Add the 3 cup to the 5 jug. Fill the 3 cup jug again. Fill the 5 cup jug. You'll end up with the 5 cup jug full, and the 3 cup jug with 1/3 full. That's one cup volume.

7- mom + dad + 4 sisters + 1 brother (same brother for all sisters) = 7 people.
8- I have no clue.

I Agree, first 4 were simply taken from one source and after some searching I found those legitimate thinking riddles due to the request of Arun.

Riddle #8 is kind of boggling because you have no hint on what word it is with 5 letters which sounds the same even if you take away 4.. which leaves you with one letter....

No it's not.

Gold is weighed on a different system of measurements. It's weighed using a troy system, and a troy ounce weighs less than a standard ounce.

Or Just FIll a cup of 3 inside the cup of 5, then refill a cup of 3. after that,fill the cup of 3 until the cup of 5 saturates, you will have a 1 cup in the cup of 3 Easier no ?

LOL? You put a lb of gold on a scale it's a lb of gold. Doesn't matter what system of bullshit you call it, 1/32.2 slug of gold * 32.2 ft/s^2 is still one lb any way you skew it. It has absolutely no effect which human invented scale you want to use, it's a universal quantity of measurement. Whether they want to make something else up and use it as a different system of measurement has absolutely no effect on a pound of gold not being a pound of gold.

#3 is balance

#4 is a pound of feathers. Gold is measured on a different scale, so in return, feathers weigh more.
