Experience. Knowledge is gained by experience. Experience is not gained by Knowledge.
Let's put it this way. You can't properly apply training into real life unless you have experience. Like a soldier going into combat for the first time. After killing one person most soldiers are scarred for life.
Experience is what you gain/learn from life and what it offered you.
Knowledge is gaining/learning from other people's life at no expense.

I dunno, but you can't gain the level of knowledge you receive through rigorous education from experience. Unless you consider the education to be the experience, but I wouldn't in this context.
