Slightly off topic but I also need to confirm my account. Problem is that I have set my age to a few years older than my real one. Should I PS the birth date on my passport or do they just look at the name on it?

If I were you, I'd verify your account to lift the limit rather than making an new account and lose that $200.
But again, that's me, cos you could get good stuff of off that $200.. Like probably new computer accessories and whatnot.
