How far we got?

Im new here and im probably goin to stay for a long time because you can now mod skins and weapon models in combat arms yay!!!! Yesterday, I introed the mods and programs (ty Blackangel) to my friend and he asked me how close are we to making our own weapons? E.g. W40k Plasma Gun (LOL) gun with 100 everything. I probably think we are going to have to mod the game engine itself but any ideas would help

We are 99% there
We just need one last tool to achieving it, we need to be able to convert the edited weapons back into the original, which there is NO TOOLS out yet.
