Welcome to the second official event hosted by the publicist team! After many weeks of planning this out we are finally ready to unveil this amazing event! The team considered many games to play but in the end we decided to choose Counter Strike: Global Offensive as our next game! We know CS:GO is a community favorite and we are really excited to have this game as our next event. For those who are not familiar with CS:GO, the game is a paid FPS Steam game. You can easily find many guides on the game itself and you can purchase a key as little as $8. The event will be a very exciting tournament. The teams will consist of only 3 players and the game mode will be based on competitive rules and game play. Players will have the opportunity to select their team members but overpowered teams will be split in order to balance the playing field. The tournament will be a simple knock out tournament. The tournament will be a 3 Vs. 3 knockout tournament. The remaining four teams will battle it out and the remaining top two will compete for the grand prize. The other two teams will compete for third and fourth place. Prizes will be awarded for the first, second, and third place team.
Team Selection Process
Players will be allowed to select their own teams of three. However, if the teams are to overpowered they will be split up. This will be determined by each member's rank on CS:GO. Players who can not find a team will be placed into a team. This will all be handled by the members of the Publicist Team. Teams must be submitted and approved before the deadline. Smurf accounts are NOT allowed! You must be playing on your main CS:GO account. If a player is caught playing on another account, the player will be banned from the competition and the team will play a man down.
Substitutes
Each team will be allowed to have one substitute in case another member does not show up. Substitutes are allowed to be apart of another team but can only be a substitute for a maximum of 2 teams. Substitutes must be declared on the official sign up thread and must have been submitted and approved before the deadline. Substitutes that are not registered will not be eligible for play. Teams using illegal substitutes will be disqualified from the tournament. Substitutes must be approved by the Publicist Team. The overpowered rule for substitutes still applies.
Prizes
Prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams.

1st Place: Humble Bundles for Each Player & Subscription to Cracked Accounts- Humble Bundle will be the Borderlands Humble Bundle
2nd Place: Profile Edit Coupon for Each Player & CSGO Skins* - Coupon is good for a one time name change, text tile change, or image title change
3rd Place: Profile Edit Coupon for Each Player - Coupon is good for a one time name change, text tile change, or image title change
Winners may opt out of their prizes for any prizes that are below their placing.
For example, the 1st place team will have an option to opt out of their prize and select the 2nd or 3rd place prize
The 2nd place place team will have the option to opt out of their prize and select the 3rd place prize
The 3rd place team will have the option to opt of their prize and receive nothing!
*Skins will be 50 cent skins. Players will not have the opportunity to select the skins as they will be handed out randomly to each player
This is an event hosted by the MPGH Publicist Team. All rules and the event itself will be monitored by the Publicist Team. Failure to comply with these rules will result in action being taken on your MPGH account. The rules include MPGH Rules and Event Rules that are listed below.
Cheating
Cheating is absolutely prohibited! Cheaters will be banned from ALL future MPGH related events and will receive a ban on MPGH as well. Cheaters will also be reported to Valve.
Cheating includes the following:
Any 3rd Person Program that gives the player an unfair advantage
- AIMBOT, TRIGGER BOTS, WALL HACKS, ETC
- Abusive use of Marcros will be considered "cheating"

Another thread will be created for more information about the event date and time and as well as a full list of the teams.
Players must first fill out the "Player" application. Afterwards, players may team up with other players who have already completed the "Player" application and fill out a separate "Team" application. The team application also includes an area for a substitute. The substitute must be willing to become a substitute and must fill out a "Player" application.
