MW2 Texture Hack & Tutorial:
Colored Players, Reduced Foliage & Hud Blood

Three texture hacks included with the release:

Red Player Models - all player models are colored red.
Reduced Foliage - many of the bushes that obstruct viewing are now invisible.
No Hud Blood - the blood splatter that appears in the hud after taking damange is now invisible.




To use these hacks, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS.TXT in each hack folder.

• It's up to you to decide which hacks you want to apply, and if you want to edit the colors or create your own texture hacks using information from MW2_Texture_Tutorial_BD.pdf.
• Make sure that when extracting the zip, the directory structure is maintained. There should be three separate folders for each hack in the initial release (no_hud_blood, red_player_models, and reduced_foliage). Be sure to read each Instructions.txt in each hack folder to apply the desired texture hacks. In the main folder, you'll find the tutorial and some of the tools needed to create your own custom textures.
• There is a slight learning curve associated with modifying textures. I purposely left out any type of deployment tool automating the process of injecting modified IWIs into IWDs. Please read MW2_Texture_Tutorial_BD.pdf to understand the process. It's possible to have red player models applied to your game within ten minutes once you get the hang of it.
• Feel free to post your own IWI texture creations here. Be sure the ZIP or RAR is bundled so that users know what IWD file needs to be edited (use my structure please).

No, it just colors the players, you can't see them through walls, I believe.

It's still very helpful in spotting players and snipers.

Guyz, this is just like Normal Gaming, U dont see them thru walls, The Enemy is just coloured Differently. No Wallhack or Chams, Just Coloured Players

Hmmm seem's useful, if your all out gamer and care about the score. But really it ruins the graphic and fun in the game, but great job

would this hack be detected and get u a vac ban tho??

This thread is a good example on how to post your hacks. This is useful since it also removes foliage.
