I would normally stop using the cheat once CS:GO updates but I want to be extra safe. So I've been thinking about it myself and wanted to ask the community for it's help. As the title says, when should I stop using a cheat. I want to know if I should stop cheating after 3 days after it's release, 7 days, just something around that. Thanks C:
CS:GO updates have nothing to do with VAC. The notion about cheats getting detected after 3 days are mostly just rumours. Some cheats got detected after 1 day of release. If you do not want to get banned, I suggest you to not use any cheats at all.
To be honest nobody can awnser your question, but I will give you some tips and you should build an idea out of all this information. Most public cheats get detected very soon because of the mass popularity they get(lets say EzFrags gets like 1k downloads the 1st day) and if people dont protect their hack file from Valve`s a bit illegal research upon your precious PC, they will catch it as a conflicting software and send it to their DB and write it down. NOW, when one of the players uses that hack and gets caught, the others that have the same hack as the 1st one that got caught(they send the program to DB to scan for this particular software) will also get caught because the programs are more than 90% indentical. That's why most people use a MD5 hash changer, but that doesn't stop Valve from checking your HDD and task manager, does it? That's why they use an encryption method or a protection software so when Valve scans for the software, that same encryption or protection will stop them from picking up a signal. All's good untill they pick up 2 or more same indentities of unknown software. So they start checking that software for any malicious attempts. If they do find out tho(real people working on this I believe), they will push up a "VACation" on all of the people that have the same indentity programs and start searching for similar code and etc. And sooner or later the full source of the program will be caught and the developers will have to make an update of the software for a new identity(aside from the needed updates if there are patch changes that affect the game). Paid hacks are just as vulnerable as public ones, but they have much, much lower playerbase(like public has 10k+, paid has 500 only) so the time needed to catch all of the people is like a LOOOT slower. Hope this helps. //Solved
