Well I do have hotspotshield on. I use it when I game so its harder for the game to identify me (not sure if I worded that correctly)

Hotspotshield has to be the most horriblest of all VPNs i have ever seen! I believe that is causing all the trouble.. Turn it off and see how it goes for a while.
Forces ads of all kinds on it's users, has previous controversy of possible keylogging and is known to do bullshit like captchas!

I'd suggest looking at VPNbook if you want a free one. It's quite nice and the speed is good enough for running not-so-hardcore games! If you want to, i can ask around and look furthermore. I'm sure i can find some even better ones!
