How did you get better at grammar?

Everyone makes mistakes. But, me as Estonian, it's quite hard to learn English, and learn proper grammar.. If there even is a proper one.

as far as I know, you can't insult on someone, who can do better than you in future. Maybe I will be a lot better, than some US/UK/CA people. You never know.

Reason why my grammar is shit:
1)School (School did not teach it)
2)Personal issues
3)No time
4)Learned my own, video games, movies.. But I still think it sucks. And I know, thinking like that wont help a lot.

You learn it on schools. But, I have not mentioned: I'm from disability school, and learning on that school was low. You had learn things like; Math, Mother language, Cooking, and such first glass shit. But you was not available to learn, Languages, Science, and such advanced stuff.

Being English is hard, I do understand that there are far worse grammar people than mines is... But still, I feel bad about myself, being here like 4 years hasn't make me any better. I was IP banned like 3 years.

First time when I joined MPGH, I got yelled a lot, and reason were my grammar.

Teacher wont help.. I'm lazy ass fuck. Learned it from Movies/Video games (Games without subtitles, most likely sport games)

The Internet is a huge place, there should be many techniques or tricks which you can find online that you can use to eliminate your 'bad-grammar'.

Unfortunately, as someone in this post mentioned earlier, English is not an opinion. There are clearly wrong ways of communicating. However, as an engineer, I look back and feel nothing but sorrow, pity and despise over English classes in grade school. Do not confuse proper grammar with trying to get an "A" in an English class that some dumb confused teacher is trying to turn into a poetry class. I barely pulled C's throughout grade school (in English...) yet here I am, teaching at a university, spending 40% of my work week writing. Go figure.

Anyway... read books. Don't exclusively read forums, as 90% of what you're reading is junk communication. Garbage in -> garbage out. Attentively listen to people smarter than you and surround yourself by people you want to become. Check this youtube channel out; after listening to them for the past few months, I not only speak more eloquently, I've learned a lot about social topics I don't have time otherwise to pay attention to.

If all else fails, it seems everywhere online has those nice red squiggly lines that you can abide by maybe the green ones will start showing up someday soon, too!

Well, thanks for giving a time to write all of it. I'm still trying hard/learn shit over of a internet. Since my "A", "C" are kinda fine, I still need to work on proper sentence, which I hate, and I'm sad about it. Learning English is hard as Outsider of a country where is it as a main language, like America, England, Canada, Australia
