After thinking long and hard about this question I have only come up with more questions, and very few anwsers.
We have all heard the saying " Time flys by when you are having fun " right..? Well the more I think about this statement and the more I look at each day as it goes by the more my theory makes sense.
Time goes by as fast as you want it to go, my reasoning behind this is simply from self-experience.
Throughout the last week I have been noticing that I can seem to perseve time to go as fast as I want it to, what I mean is that I can basically just sort of blank out time from my mind. For example I will be sitting in my room with nothing to do, waiting for my dinner to be cooked - I just blank out time from my mind and then its dinner time.
It feels nearly identical to "spacing out" ; feeling light headed and a sense of no-where but still sensing and remembering everything that is going on around you.
Has anyone else experianced this...? Thoughts and theories on the subject?
Looking forward to your responses.
I'm, High.

If Time doesn't really exist, then we wouldn't grow older.

haha kid look when you blank out then basicaly your going into a less point of awarness state so you feel out of it so to say. thats why time goes faster your not focusing on time and what time it is thats why =)
I really would like to hear Paroxysm's opinion in this matter.
Sounds like your just spacing out.
But this actually sounds like something out of a book I read one time (Because you remain aware of your surroundings). (No it's not a science book.)
The movement of the earth and the day and night the seasons are the time we measure time using clock's so most of the people now think what the clock shows is the time but time is the movement the motion of the world.
Time does not exist. Just the changing of our surroundings.
Time can't be different on other planets, because their is no time. It's just the changing of our surroundings that we've been adapted to. Therefor, people called that "time".
As I said. Time is time because we call it like that. Like an apple is an apple, and not a pear. But because we gave such a thing the name 'apple' it doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
