Bought a pair of Kanye West tickets but couldn't go to the show because I got sick. Posted them on Facebook on the day of and met some dude at a Starbucks. Sold it right then and there.

Well yeah I sold them above what I bought them for because the show was sold out. Only logical to do so.

But if you're planning on making money through doing this, if you got the time might as well. Personally I hate doing stuff like this because what if no one buys it. Plus you gotta go around looking for people to buy them. I only did it because I HAD to.

Well..... that is why you buy IN ARTIST..... like eminem (idk if he still does it) and you don't buy up and coming artists beacuse well they are still shaky right now. Get me? Like taylor swift is for sure going to sell out and people will still want tickets, if you buy you can easy sell to some crazy bitch for a $300+ dollar profit (believe me bitches are crazy)

Her company buys the tickets the moment they are available (months in advance and low in price), then they resell them nearing the concert (2 weeks or less + Sky rocket the ticket prices).
She says she gets paid a fuck ton but idk.

I could see it being profitable for you to buy one or two tickets cheap and early, and sell them more expensive and later.
But it's not really the safest bet because you might bust and get no buyers, while you sit with "x" amount of dollars gone and with tickets you're not going to use.
Would have to be able to afford having the price of the tickets out of your bank acc, and for the amount of time you're going to wait.

Idk about USA, but I know in Australia its legal in some states and illegal in others. I mean there are companies which basically do this (as its their business model)

you have to know what to buy, artists that will likely sell out or artists that are extremely popular.

also it can't hurt to buy tickets to artists you like, if shit goes south and you can't sell the tickets then you can just go yourself.

Thats why you do it for shows like Drake, NAV, etc. My irl friend scammed people for 1400$, although got a new emails of police reports lol.
