Old style vs New style anime

If we're talking about animation then yes there are obvious improvements which are way beyond what could be achieved during the olden days however character designs have been butchered and made absolutely generic and garbage in almost all new anime.

Good point in there, they had more unique characters but in these days they look almost the same one, still, there is no perfect anime only really good ones

I mean I use to watch old style anime since I started watching anime awhile ago. For me personally I started making the transition to new style anime. For example I went from part 1 naruto to Demon slayer which is a huge animation change.

I like the new style more in everything. But I also like the old style because of some aspects of it. I remember Shaman king or Eyeshield 21 with warmth. But the new style is really nicer to me in terms of design, plot, and writing characters. The only thing that bothers me a little is too much explicit sexuality.

I kind of agree with you, though there are a lot of older animes that have great animation like Cowboy Bepop and Hajime no Ippo.

I dont like many old anime because of the big-eyes-animation-style. Some old anime like Death Note still looking.

old anime looks waaay more mature. new anime has its pros but i mean look at akira.

I actually prefer the old style to the new style, I feel like most shows now have characters that have huge chests and giant eyes, like they think "what will make people watch our show...huge boobs"
