Anime with a meaning

What anime have you watched that has taught you something about life?
For me it is Toradora and Clannad. Toradora has taught me to not run away from problems and to face it head on. Clannad has taught me the importance of family and friends, and the fact that family doesn't have to be blood related.

Ao no exorcist has taught me that i must not depend on anyone, Naruto taught me that i must always fight my loneliness and never give up, Bleach taught me to keep trying till death, Black cat taught me to stay calm even when you are in utmost disadvantage, Law of Ueki taught me to follow the path of justice, Detective Academy Q taught me to think in every way possible and question everything that can't be proved, Death note taught me that life isn't as easy as it seems to be, There's more if i keep on continuing im afraid it will never end. but this should do i suppose .

kara no kyoukai and Eden(manga). Thats about it.

Ao no exorcist: Taught me blatant ripoffs are ok as long as the series is 5 years apart.
Naruto: Taught me that ignorance is ok.
Bleach: Taught me to ignore every part of the story after it is finished.
Death Note: Taught me that if i don't go insane in the end "justice" could exist. But no, everyone has to be a dick about it.

A lot of anime's share the same meaning, and all anime has SOME meaning. But the one's I took the most from were Naruto and DBZ, they taught me to never give up and to protect those that are special to you even if it costs you your life.

Oh, and @Empire you taught me that there's always going to be people in the world that enjoy arguing and going against others. I'm pretty sure the thread says "What anime have you watched that has taught you something about life?" not "What anime have you watched that has taught you something about life? Oh, and correct those that don't agree with Empire's opinion."

Naruto and DBZ share the same generic philosophy of the "chosen one". The main character wins simply because he is the main character. Except in DBZ goku dies.

Goku dies when Gohan becomes the main character, Akira Toriyama actually wanted to end it there (at cell) but the fans didn't want to. And just because the character wins the battle doesn't mean he "wins" in all senses of the term, you can still lose in other areas other than the upfront battle. (Ex: Emotional turmoil.)
