[Solved] Failed to download version.ini.

Failed to download version.ini.

So ive had this problem before but i have no idea how i fixed it.
I've tried every possible way, like change the info in the Verion.ini. file, delete the host files, install the game in another folder (hard drive),
If there is any other way i cant fix this problem please help me i will give thanks and +rep.

You can have the noobiest internet and that will happen. The old version of CF has a different Txt that contains the version.ini, this happens to a lot of old cf players who do not update Crossfire once it comes out, so the version.ini gets compile and instead of replacing, the number compiles and the patcher is screwed.

Did you delete crossfire folder after uninstalling?
And don't forget to delete cflog

is Version.ini occuring during patching or ingame?

If you reinstalled the game in a different drive and this still occurs, then your internet is blocking a certain portion of the game downloader. Have you tried port forwarding?

No the game doesnt even want to update!
