No Knockback
Knockback has to be one of the most annoying thing in Trove, especially if you're using a movement speed hack (since knockback increases when movement speed increases causing you to fly for miles). Thing is though that that increasing Stability by hacking does not reduce knockback at all. I find this weird cuz I know that knockback is client sided. The reason i know this is because like I said above, when you increase movement speed you also increase received knockback. If you've activated your movement speed hack and get punched by a Punch-bot you'll get knocked back 500 blocks, but to this the server says "Ah aaa... no you don't. You where only knocked back 200 blocks" and rubber bands you back 300 blocks.
What I think is happening is that when the server tells the client "You've taken damage" it also updates your Stability value to the correct value in the same go. The Cheat Engine freeze function works by checking for changes at an address and quickly changes it back to the hacked value when a change occurs, but I'm afraid that if they update the Stability stat this way then Cheat Engine simply can't be fast enough for this method to work. This has been the case in other games and how I've solved it in those games is to find out what writes to the address and null its effect, but since I can't attach the debugger on Trove a can't do this.
You might make the argument that "What good will a knockback hack do you if you'll be rubber banded to the correct position anyway?" and the answer is simple. You'll only be rubber banded if the difference in distance between client and server position is great enough. It's just that when you're using a movement speed hack you'll be knocked back like crazy and thus rubber banded like crazy at which point the rubber banding would be much less likely if you had no knockback at all.
So my request is this. Can someone with a little more experience with Cheat Engine or hacking in general look in to this and perhaps make a No Knockback Hack?
