Game Hack in Java
Hello Guys,

it feels like that 99% of all hacks are written in C#/C++. Someone of you ever tried to create a hack in Java? I´m aware that Java runs in his own JVM, but actually u are able to access native method for memory processing (kernel32.dll, user32.dll) with the JNA library.

But I guess u are limited to external programs then, cause I don´t think u are able to insert a GUI for the game itself like in multiple examples i´ve seen on threads here!

Curious about your opinion!
You're only limiting yourself by using Java.
Moreover, if you use C#/C++ many users on here can help you with issues.
I am by no means saying it shouldn't/can't be done, just that there is a reason everyone uses other languages
pointers and so much memory management is what makes c++ godlike for hacking

Actually I developed for a long time in Java now and that´s why I was asking, no hacks imo much more like standalone applications and serverside coding for web applications. The memory aspect of C++ is probably the game changer + that the community is way bigger.

I just grabbed an aimbot from PsychoBitch and imported it into a VS Project and it´s kinda easy to read for me ( expect some language specific stuff, which is normal at all), I guess I´m looking forward to expand my knowledge in C++ and write my own.

I still hope someone is responding to me welcome thread, cause I´m looking forward to get someone like a mentor which will speed up my learning process quite a lot.

Try looking at some C# source.
Java syntax is similar to C# syntax.
That's the jump I made
Python -> Java -> C# -> C++
Hello,

i wrote my first trainer (memory hack) for assault cube yesterday. Actually C++ feels quite more comfortable than i expected in the beginning and the Handles + the memory altering functions are really great. So i guess I´m sticking to C++ now :P

Yeh you will find that when you get used to coding in C++ you feel much more comfortable, it just flows easier through my mind is how I would present it in comparison to other languages. I don't think completely sticking to C++ should be your goal, keep refreshing yourself on Java... Who knows I mean it could be useful someday!

However, I agree with everyone else in that C++ gives you a complete playing field where Java sort of cuts of parts of it and you have to get over tricky obstacles to get to where you need to be.

Actually I could have wrote the trainer easily in JAVA, cause when u are adressing a normal memory space adress it´t not hard at all if u use the JNA library. But one major problem is, that u cant instantiate a real pointer in java it only uses references which do not allow some kind of operations which are natural to pointers I guess. In my main job I´m a full time developer so I won´t get away from Java anyway, but the switch from one language to another isn´t that hard at all.

I´m looking forward to create a whole package of hacks from scratch, which is for me more like an opportunity to learn the language itself really fast. I also feel like I will get a deep knowledge of underlying stuff which is going on in processes and that kind of stuff.

Couldn´t find a proper tutorial for creating an ingame overlay and I´m also not into that directx stuff so i may consider some background research on that topic!
i've seen somone makea glow ESP with java. its possible
