BF3 Privately Hosted Server - Custom XP Scale

Recently I've seen quite a few players with crazy stats and very little time played. For example one player had 22 million score, max rank with less, 87 service stars on the support class and less than 7 hours played. His stats got reset over the past couple of days otherwise I'd link to his profile. Last seen online a week ago though.

With ZLO out in the wild someone must have found a way to make a privately run server connect to the master server & appear in the server list. I'm just curious if anyone on here has any more info or can point me in the right direction to learn a bit more about this....

Or he just rented a server and got file access to do whatever he wants?

You can't change stuff like XP scale, score per award etc on officially rented servers.

I understand how the server works, what vars change what etc. Just curious how someone got their server to connect to the master server & be visible in battlelog.

You can with hosts like Vilayer for example. They give you full file access to everything which allows you to change whatever you want and keep it on the official servers. This would allow you to edit the variables to change the amount of XP you receive for doing things like capping a flag for example. (If you really tried hard to search for those things). You obviously cannot do anything with the Offical Dice Hosted Server's because thats all handled by them but any other host that gives you file access will work. For PC of course.
