I am thinking about getting a motorcycle licence
Good or bad idea?

I was thinking pros and cons

Pros
Way cheaper
Way faster
More choices with less money
Way cheaper on gas
YEAH COPS GET ME GET MEEEEE, YOU CAN'T THO FEGTS.
Cons
Die easier
Less space
Weather effects things
Cold
Cannot bring more people along

So if you drove a car AND a bike tell me if it is worth it
Main issue is that if you get cleaned up by a car you are going to be a skid mark.
I don't see a reason not to. If you're considering it, it wouldn't hurt to get it.

Yeah I was just looking up the dangers of getting motorcycles and whatnot, HOWEVER the accidents that do occur are either people trying to lane cut or do stunts or speed horrifically fast. There are legit accidents that occur but they occur in cars also,HOWEVER motorcycles are more dangerous i will agree. I don't know yet if it is worth it.

How old are you? Im kinda thinking about same, as im 17 and for car license i would need to wait 1 year, but at same time, i just could save more money for car as i dont even have a bike yet.

If you're going for a 125, you'll probably struggle to even get up a hill. Those are around $4-5k I believe, they top out at 70 and are generally slow as hell.
In belgium you have to be 24 to get a motorcycle license :<

7-10k second hand, if you want a decent one you'll be around 15-20k
Do you have a car license yet?

You fail to see that I don't want a motorcycle to go fast as fuck (and to die) i just want to get in and out of traffic fast and get from point a to b. I also want the bike to look cool as fuck.

Since I am a beginner I will probably get

Literally everybody I know who had a motorcycle/heard that they have a motorcycle had an accident that almost took their life and left serious injuries, some other cases are when they ran over someone. Shit is very very dangerous..
Cons
Die easier

Made my day !
I drive a bike and a car, I only use the bike in spring summer and parts of early fall before it gets too cold. It's more about your own satisfaction and feeling free which I love.
I've been riding and driving now for over a year (just turned 19) and i think its definitely worth it if you feel like its what you want to do, but if you at all do not feel right on the road don't be on it. You want to practice in industrial areas before hitting the city's and just predict that every car is blind so just be always prepared to swerve stop or get out of the way, at traffic lights you want to be in the lane but in a position that you can quickly move out of the way from a car coming up behind you. Once you get over everyone trying to kill you we get to the fun part, riding with mates and hitting up the hills is just so good and a great way to clear the mind.

For a first bike i recommend something around 400-600cc with a comfortable riding position, i still have my first bike that's a gs500e and have a couple friends that got 250's and hated them after two weeks.

Just most important is to not be cheap with your riding gear! also loud pipes save lives.

P.S - Stay upright.
