Manual Mapping from a DLL inside another application
I'm not asking to be fed source code here but need some direction. I currently use LoadLibrary or DLL hijacking to inject. These are not the best ways of doing it and anticheats can detect this kind of stuff very easily. So I need to start manually mapping.

I have looked at and tried to get some code working. Just to test and see what's going on but I can't get anything to work.

My goal is to inject a DLL into a process normally. Like inject it into skype or something then have that manually map my DLL into the target process.

Whatever help or direction you could give me is great.
Do you know what manual mapping is?
It is exactly what it sounds like.

If you are able to code in C++ you should understand the following code pretty easy.
Check this out: It is snippet, nearly c&p ready.

Already looked at the source and am always getting CreateFile errors. Either 2 or 123. Looked around and couldn't find solutions. Even went to stackoverflow to see if anyone there could help but no answer.

The mistake is pretty obvious, you provided an invalid file path.

Yeh you'd think wouldn't you. i know what the errors are but I have tried everything.

I have tried doing various paths to the desktop, directly to the C: drive, in the same directory. All of them giving the same errors. I know the exact file path to the DLL in it's various locations that I tried so they are not incorrect.

But you still didn't manage to provide the correct path, or else GetLastError wouldn't return you these 2 errors.

How am I suppose to present the path?

I tried "C:\\base.dll", "C:\\base", "C:\\Users\\*name*\\Desktop\\base(.dll)"

Also trying in the same directory "base.dll", "\\base.dll"

The DLL name is exactly that. All lowercase

Show me your entire function call.

It's in the link @RoPMadM posted.
Just testing things
Then debug your code and tell us where your code is failing.
@SilentWarp are you using Visual Studio?

In Visual Studio, to disable the default character set you will do the following ... Project>Properties>Configuration Properties>General>Character Set>Not Set
