Which to get?!

There is are some good ass sales on monitor and I need help. I dont have as much time as I use to to play games, but I do like to program and like to develop games, and I was wondering which will benefit me more in the long run?
Im currently running a Viewsonice VA 2212 and is too small for learning stuff on (switching back and forth between apps)

Second one is too wide. Can't see the first one

What games do you play the most? Or is this strictly for programming and developing games?

It really depends on what are you going to be using for it.

That deppends, if you have an ATI GPU compatible with FreeSync I would get the Acer one, if not I would pick the LG.

Then go ultrawide. You don't need 144hz. You shouldn't even bother with 144hz, unless you're playing at a competitive level. You'll have TONS more space to work with on that ultrawide.
