Lag Switch with NetLimiter 3

Hi,
Today i just want to share you this free method for lag switching.
It's an easy way :

First Step : Download NetLimiter 3 (https://www.netlimiter.com/download)
Second Step : After install it you need to restart your computer.
Third Step : Configure your NetLimiter like this (by double-click on the value) :

Final Step : Active lag by check the "DL" box then Deactive lag by uncheck the box.

Not to diminish your contribution... but why you gonna use an external app (potentially detectable.. whenever it's legit) when the windows firewall (something that is already part of your Windows OS and cannot be blocked by an anti-cheat) will do the same... and better?

I just propose an alternative method for lag switching, NetLimiter can't get you banned because it's just a software for limit your Download/Upload speed...
But i understand what you say but i tell you an different method

If you are using a 3rd party program, it CAN and WILL be blocked and detectable. Thats why using windows firewall with the batch script is so good.

How can do that? i need this

NetLimiter is the basic program for lag switching on game like arma 3 or h1z1 with BE and i have never been banned for use it on different game with BE so if what i say is wrong i'm sorry maybe it can be detectalbe in the future but for the moment it's ok for me. Thanks for the informations and your contribution i will note it

I know the firewall method but i don't know how to bind key for that and with netlimiter it's easy to make a maccro ^^

Would another security program work? It's a legit one. Or does it have to be windows firewall?

You need to make a macro to bind a key for check and unckeck the box ... i will see if i can find one

Some tips to test :
First one :
On NetLimiter 4 you can do the same by open "Activity" tab and find Tslgame.exe then right click and add rule to limit to 300 or whatever you want then you can use the "Limiter on/off" button at the top is the easiest to access when you alt-tab quickly.

Second one : maybe you can choose the Rule type to change "Limit" to "Firewall" (i have seen this option in NetLimiter 3 when you "Add rule")

I couldn't get Syruz's scripts to work, I haven't used the one in the OP either however I have been using a "lag switch" app that was available for another game and it's been working a charm since release, no ban yet. It's a generic lag switcher like the OP is proposing.

However I do think BE can still ban you for it if they wanted, CE is generic tool for memory reading and you'll get banned for it. I wonder if you'll get banned for Wireshark too.

Any third party programs can get you banned, if you cant get the firewall method working, check my new thread, the IPCONFIG method should work for everyone, and has just as little chance of a ban.
