Lag Switch Info (Post Patch)
Since the patch (already available on TEST servers, to be released tomorrow May 16th on main servers) you can lag switch only for a brief time, otherwise you will be blocked.

Actually if on a side it will nerf the lag switches a lot, on the other side its usage will be much more secure because you cannot abuse much of it, risking of being banned. For more information about how "safe" a Lag Switch can be, read this thread: http://www.mpgh.net/forum/showthread.php?t=1256169

Since the time of the lag jump is very short, activating/deactivating it manually looses much of its importance, instead it is important to release it (no matter what) before it locks you out, hence it makes much more sense to combine the activation and deactivation in a single command line.

The method I consider safest is:

- Turn Off your windows firewall if it's on;

- Add two new rules in your windows firewall (outbound/inbound .. whenever only the inbound one is effective) to block PUBG (TslGame.exe in your Steam game folder) for all the ports and protocols, the entry will look like this:

- Make a new bat file with this code:

Code:
@echo off
netsh Advfirewall set allprofiles state on
timeout 2 >NUL 2>&1
netsh Advfirewall set allprofiles state off
The above batch file, will turn on your file, will wait for 2 seconds, will turn off the firewall again.
Run the batch file manually is now not practical anymore (due to the limited time you have), so the best way is to assign it to a button/macro (Logitech, Razer or whatever gaming device you have), I do NOT recommend you to use autoHotKey because it smells cheating by a mile.
Remember: it needs admin rights to work, so you must disable your Windows UAC, or turn it into an exe and give to it the admin rights, using any batch to exe converter, like this one: http://www.f2ko.de/en/b2e.php

Considerations:

- I intentionally did not added any profile, nor the exe name directly in the batch file to make it more generic as possible. BE can scan the batch file to look for "TslGame.exe", so IMO it's always better to add the firewall rule manually and to leave it there, instead of leaving traces in your batch file.

- Converting the batch into an exe is a smart way to overcome to the Admin rights issues, but it adds more bits to be traced by BE, whenever tracing isn't that trivial: the batch/exe doesn't remain in execution for longer than the timeout, but still risky. I didn't attached any pre-compiled version for obvious reasons: it will be flagged instantly by BE that is following this forum.

- I used 2 seconds in the above batch file, you can adjust it to the value that work for you (it won't be longer than 3 seconds anyway). From my tests I wasn't capable of exceed 1.5s ... however people are experiencing different timeouts, so adjust it to your needs.

- Because of the very short time, forget to use it manually in a proficient manner, it will be useful to "lag switch" in a firefight, by binding it to a macro in example, but you won't go in a house to kill a camper anymore.

- As I mentioned previously, now using a lag switch will be much more secure because you cannot "jump" for 20 seconds, doing crazy things (like multiple kills and such), but IT STILL DETECTABLE in theory, so using it for that single kill will work, doing crazy scores in every round (whenever the usage is not very limited) is a call to be banned:use at your own risk.
What happen if you use it longer then 3secs?
Freeze (Network lag) or will you be kicked from the server?
Are you able to play further when you go above 3 secs or will it be "game over" for you? Thanks for info.

Your character will be locked in place.

Basically

BEFORE PATCH:
1. turn on ls
2. you have 20 seconds to do WHATEVER YOU WANT/CAN
3. turn off ls
4. watch the magic happen

AFTER PATCH:
1. turn on ls
2. you have 3 SECONDS to do whatever you can
3. if you take more than 3 seconds, your character will be locked in place and whatever you do during this period = nothing in real time
4. turn off ls and hope u did something in 3 seconds

Basically, LS will still work but only good for close combat fights or for fighting when you are top 10 in small circle area
I tested for me it's just 1 second
Exact, you can continue to play if you exceed the timeout and you're locked (you will be "unlocked" when the connection resumes). I didn't checked if when it locks you it will also invalidate the actions (in example the hits) you made before the timeout/lock.

I'm not sure why everyone says 3 seconds, it's more like 1.5 seconds I experienced from my tests, so actually lag switching is only useful when combined with a macro:

- Take cover;
- LS > step side > shot > LS OFF

All the above done within 1.5s ... that is a pain to do manually, so you must automatize it someway.
Make a batch file that automatically enable connection after 3 sec of lag.
Then you don't need to manually turn off lag switch.

Seriously... didn't you read what's this whole thread is about?

Yes, its about you taking credit for someone elses work, and then re-working my idea using someone elses discovery to try to gain your own merit.

If you believe everything you say about lagg switching being so dangerous;

Also converting it to EXE adds extra code that can be detected, so thanks for giving Battleye a detection method for your lagg switch (which is basically my idea but modified slightly)

You must be new to cheating? Lag switch are tens year old... do you really believe they have been invented yesterday... by you? Oh my.... ahah.
Also, I mentioned the firewall netsh command via batch file 2 weeks before, here: http://www.mpgh.net/forum/showthread...1#post12725162

Lag switch *IS* detectable, because it is an ACTIVE cheat. Being banned or not is HOW you use it. If you need to learn more, please read here: http://www.mpgh.net/forum/showthread.php?t=1256169
For more details about the current implementation, re-read fully the first post, until you'll understand it.

Also converting it to EXE adds extra code that can be detected
You come late, it's specified in the first post, here: "...it adds more bits to be traced by BE..."; you should also pay much more attention to the other part, that you ignored when you first "released" an exe (in the hope of being credited for "something" released...) that made it flagged resulting in having people banned. Read it carefully: "I didn't attached any pre-compiled version for obvious reasons: it will be flagged instantly by BE that is following this forum".

Next time you should criticize something, do it constructively, but most of all do not pollute this thread, I'm here to talk about cheats not to fight with random kids on internet. Thank you!
Bound to happen sooner or later, 1-3 seconds isn't enough to do anything imo. So this come into effect tomorrow?
Also you are using generic code that is never used outside of this circumstance, no program would ever disable all firewall rules unless it was a lagg switch, and as such you are providing people with code that BE can and nost likely now WILL detect

Wrong again (and not surprised): it's a common and valid method to disconnect your PC from internet by having a general rule in your windows firewall.
It's the software alternative of disconnect/reconnect your ethernet cable, and people uses it every time then want to isolate a PC from the network. If work in the IT you would know.

Instead, adding the executable in the batch file (the one you proposed in your post) ... that's surely a great way to be caught.

It's becoming pathetic really... I feel sad for you. Can we still to talk about cheats? Thanks.

Modified the code in the first post by adding the ">NUL 2>&1" part for those who doesn't like to have the countdown updating the console window (not required if you compile the batch, disabling the windows output).

Yes because thats the first thing i want to do when playing video games, is isolate my pc

Hem... I'm not sure if you know, but a PC is often used for other things than playing video games or navigate internet.
However now you learned it.

Yes, but when playing video games, especially games that use online, you would never ever run the command:

netsh Advfirewall set allprofiles state on

UNLESS lagg switching. Thus this command is something that can be put into BE as a detection.
