Yes and no.
Education is sure useful in some aspect, especially when you study for the things that you want to graduate for, like science, computing or anything alike, but other than that, it's pretty useless, especially the elementary, high school due the fact that they aren't teaching you things you really are in need for.
School for kids is a living hell, for parents it's a way to get rid of the little devils that we were.

Education is pretty important to get a decent job and good monthly salary, even though we end up forgetting or not even using what we learn in school later on.
