Error code 4
Im getting an error, when staying in lobby for 1 minute.
It says ::

EAC has detected that game files have been modified (error code 4). To resolve this, please verify the integrity of the game cache (found under the Local Files section of the game's properties).

Additional info: Unknown file version
(DeadByDaylight/Content/Paks/deadbydaylight-windowsnoeditor.pak)

What should I do in this situation ?
I don't wanna verify the integrity of the game cache, because I will need to do all the HxD hacking again.

Yeah, seems like they finally implemented integrity checks. RIP
Save editing should still be safe if you're not obvious about it

It won't do shit, EAC integrity check is client sided, so unless you can reverse engineer it you can't do anything.

I already blocked EAC.
Nothing happens. The error still pops up...


Or maybe I failed the EAC blocking

NVM, seems like it does not work.
Well, maybe theres other ways but I cant think of one

well I tried to redownload the pak file and edited it again. And it seems like it still happens.
So I think we need to do something now

Error code 4 - with EAC folder and blocked ips
Error code 4 - without EAC folder and unblocked ips
Cant connect anywhere - without EAC folder and blocked ips

Only R.I.P Exclusive skins.
You can get DLC's with SteamCrack.

I guess its time to go back to SteamCrack, since you can't do DLC's with HxD anymore.
