[INFO] On weapon swapping

hey guys

ok, everyone seems to think that by swapping a model with another model, makes it have a higher ROF, lower recoil, etc... well it doesnt.. so you can all stop thinking that it does..

all you are doin, is renaming a model.. say you were doin a famas to M416, you would rename the famas models to the M416 models, now the M416 LOOKS like a Famas but shoots like a M416, therefor it LOOKS like it has increased damage and shit.. when it doesnt.. it has all the M416 stats, with the look of a famas

and even if it did change the rof and recoil.. it would be any use.. cause its client sided not server sided, so it would help u kill faster anyway.. there is nothing special about swapping a model.. its all show and no go..

all we can do to combat ares is for looks at the momet, so please stop saying how your little 5 second rename makes a weapon better than anything

if you want to change rof and shit.. extract ATTRIBUTES.rez, and some how crack the code so you can edit it.. this is the ONLY way to change all that

swapping a model does also SWAP Rate of Fire and Portability.

look and the m16 to minigun mods, with chams it was like using 1 hit kill hacks on people, a whole clip unloaded in .3 of a second certainly HELPS, the only limitations with default to minigun was the low ammo.

minimi to minigun has been done and you get extra ammo, thus solving the ammo problem abit,

so swapping models does help in some cases.

... i would like to say ur right about the minigun mod.. but im not sure about other wep mods as it is hard to tell about ROF and RECOIL

Really now? Then how come I can empty my Anaconda "clip" intensely fast when I crossmod it with a G23? I doubt it changes recoil and what not, but I DO believe it CAN change the RoF on guns...

yea dude you realy need to note more of these things model swapping does indeed make it shoot faster thats it tho

kdivers, your anaconda mod isn't even faster :| I do believe liquid, but in some cases, it does SWAP. Like L9 to SR25, We all know the RoF changes on that. but m416 to famas, not really.

i can liquidforce.. check my Super Knife For m9.. change m9 to minigun and it swings incredibly fast..

WRONG
See the super m9 knif of D Worm, 1 m9 super knif shot = like 20 shots of nomal m9
So that mean, the RoF changed
Close this.

Liquidforce you sir are wrong.

Tell me why I get kicked from melee only when my kukhri swings so fast its like a lawnmower, I walk next to someone and 10 hits hit them automaticly...

I changed it with a pistol and it did change RoF.

If not then wdf is it? lol.

DId noone read my post? It doesn't ALWAYS change. Only for slow RoF to super fast RoF, The m9 and Kuhkri to M134, It's a crossmod, it's obviously gonna change. But things like m416 to famas, m416 to m16a3... no difference.

RoF does change. haven't you seen the minigun-m16a3?

man all these idiots making stupid threads about what model cahnging does. then when someone who actually knows what they are takling about (you liquid force) they still manage to get it wrong.

... Just... Liquidforce is right.. Ffs. Yes, it does change in some cases, but that's only if you change it to the M134. Give me proof of another one that isn't something to m134.

this knife just looks like its moving faster?

its just such a small change that you cant tell. if you could use both guns at once (real famas, and famas that looks like m417) and compare them immediately, you would see the small change.
most ar's have a really close RoF. but if you swap two smg's, you can really tell.
