EAC Client Cannot Be Instantiated!

When I try to open DBD right before the main menu, an error display "EAC Client Cannot Be Instantiated" and forces me to quit the game.

Does anybody get the same error as I do? If so, what were you doing before?

It was working perfectly until I left my computer using SingleBoostr for 3 hours, came back and got this error when I launched up the game. I'm using the savefile from MikeV2 but other than that. No bypass, no hacks, nothing. I'm using the perfectly fine original game file.

Methods I've tried:
- Restarting computer
- Uninstall and Reinstall game files
- Perform an EAC Reinstallation
- Verifying the Integrity of game file via Steam

None have really worked. I have a brain so I did backhand research before makinga post, I've look on the offical forums, googled and found some people in the same situation as I am but still no luck.

I hope someone can recreate this situation or make an suggestion to what I could do. Thanks! I'll keep an eye on this thread almost every hour.

From what I understand, this means you have something wrong with a bypass, or you have a bypass on (improperly).
Only things I can recommend would be deleting eac from %appdata%, and reinstalling game (at same time too is worth a try). Also checking for firewall rules about dbd

But other than that, not sure :P

step 1: go to driverC/Windows/System32/drivers
step 2: open ''hosts'' with notepad and delete all in host or you have this code in hosts delete now

step 3: delete Easy anti cheat
step 4 : go to dead by daylight on steam right click choose properties and go to local files choose verify integrity of game files
step 5 :enjoy

Is the bypass really needed if with or without it, it is detected aswell, or am I wrong?

I realise you fixed it but one time it was cheat engine for me
so if cleaning hosts file doesn't work delete cheat engine on hour boostr

It's still not working for me. I tried everything. Could it be a soft ban?
