Anime Noob Here

Ive like never watched anime man... JUST HENTAI when i was like 8.

I need opions on what I should watch, Ive heard good things about GuruLagan or something like that and bleach But I just do not know.

Top 3 I'd recommend if you want a good starting package:
1. Code Geass (Thriller drama with action, my all time favorite)
2. Steins;Gate (Thriller)
3. Boku No Hero Academia (More noob friendly and good introduction to Shounens(think dragonball, naruto, bleach, etc basically shows that can go on forever), good if you love intense and meaningful fights)

Best movies if you want to waste a hour or two:
1. The Fake (another thriller with lots of drama and a twisted ending if you can withstand the animation quality the story will quickly make it up to you and become one of your favorites)
2. 5 CM per second (romance movie with reality actually being a factor in this movie)
3. Spirited away (classic)

Like it or not, Sword Art Online is by far one of the most noob friendly introduction shows out there and you know it. You can't tell me Sword Art ain't normie as fuck.

And ain't nothing wrong with the first Tokyo Ghoul. Just don't watch the second or third one.

Naruto (really long though)
Seven Deadly Sins (nanatsu no taizai)
Fairy Tail ( gets a lot of hate though)

Gateway anime:

One Punch Man - Great action and comedy.
Mob Psycho 100 - More great action and comedy.
My Hero Academia - Great action and characters.
Death Note - Suspense/thrill ride
Attack on Titan - Cool ideas and characters.

Tokyo Ghoul is a great starter seinen, short and easy to keep up with. Hunter x Hunter is by far my favorite shonen, but most prefer Yu Yu Hakusho. My Hero Academia is also pretty good. Bleach is really good in the beginning but gets trash after a while, I still love it though.

In general, you should go to MAL (MyAnimeList) and search for anime on there by filtering what you're looking for and based off of ratings/summary.

Try some Fanservice animes
High School of the Dead
High School DxD
Kill la Kill
