Key Code Invalid

Hi guys.
My friend gave me cod4 (downloaded) ...its been 3-4 months and its been working fine but today something wierd happened ..when i join a game/server it says that my key is invalid.
SO i downloaded keygen...i typed in the key and it says "Key Code appears to be valid" BUT when i join a server it says its not valid
I dont know what to do...Could u guys please Help me

you need to join a cracked server for the keygenned code to work you cant play on legit servers

i also figured something out...the website my friend download it from is closed ...does it have anything to do with the game?

Anyone....

Try to go in option>Multiplayer option>Key code and enter a key from the generator.

Press ~ for console then type connect (ip here) then press enter

IT WORKS NOW...i guess it jus needed i break?!!
