Apple Product
I received a Macbook Pro which has been refunded but the funds haven't hit my bank. I'm not going to power on the device until they do, but my question is, will I be able to log into my own icloud account or will I have to create a new one? Also is there any other steps I need to go through or once the money goes back into my bank will I be able to use it like a normal macbook? Thank you.
Discussed billion of times.

When you get the refund, use any iCloud account you'd like, besides the one you used to purchase the laptop.

What if you have similar information (last name, address) linked to that other account?

For the name it's okay but address and telephone, even CC I don't think it's. But let those who are more experienced with Apple to answer this.

Anyone that can confirm?
Don’t use the apple id/icloud you used to buy the macbook.
What I always do is sell it and buy a new one so you can use your own id etc and have warranty etc
You can use your apple ID, call apple up and tell them you refunded it and they will tell you its okay. trust me i done it before lol
Tell apple you got the macbook and to recharge you bro best course of action
