There's no use in insulting a new member, especially after the decision was made on the report.
We had direct interaction on the thread and I felt it was alright to de-rep in that situation.

@Joe There was no direct interaction. The post should have been deleted and a potential warning/infraction/ban handed out. Know this for next time.
