No but I've seen a big wave. I wouldn't be surprised if another on hit too. Plus some ppl report Walmart too.
Walmart is speculation. But Costco has 100% rebilled tons of ppl today.
Do it anyway and do it asap. Just say lost, broken or not working when you're trying to use it.

I've heard for some that didn't help, and it went through on new.
Might be gud to call CB, WF, BoA, n tell them to BLOCK any inc charge.
But just so you know nothing is set and stone. And there's no "100% working solution."
It is what it is I guess
Costco is rebilling in masse.
Cancelling card doesn't do anything. They can bill through that.
Cancelling bank just sends this to a collections agency, then you get fucked even more as you can't dispute it anymore.

If it's pre-approved, meaning they request the charge before you cancel, yes.
If they haven't requested before you cancel, no, they'll get denied.

You talking about canceling card or canceling bank?

Cancelling card. If you paid by card it's what they will try and rebill. If their attempt isn't pre-authorised before you cancel they'll get denied.
The issue with pre-authorisation is it can happen like up to a week before the funds leave your account. So some folks might cancel card today in a rush, but the money ends up leaving tomorrow or in a few days time.
Then you're having to try and chargeback or tell your bank its unauthorised/fraud.
I mean, it IS unauthorised, but I don't know how strong your protections are in America. Apparently not very if a retailer can just bill you $10,000 without you being made aware.

Homie they can rebill even if your card is cancelled. There was a big thing on here 2 years ago with Vegasjay99 and his refunds and everyone got rebilled 6 months after their refund even when they cancelled their card.
Each card is linked to an account number. Cancelling the card makes no difference since the account number is still the same. So basically you can cancel your card 100 times if you want. In the end they WILL rebill.

You mean people claimed they cancelled their cards for "no reason" weeks or months prior to getting rebilled? Of course I know the account number is the same.
I dunno what wild shit is going on in America then, cause this lack of consumer protection wouldn't fly here. These are unauthorised transactions, especially if a company is raiding your bank account and you don't even know it.
lol rip to ppl that really went ham and got like 3-4k refunds in 1 order
