Ya here in NA cancelling your card makes no difference. I see a bunch of dumbass refunders just telling their customers to cancel their card and they will be fine.

This is gonna end really badly with how many scam reports and rebills happen.

In this situation all you can do is freeze your account or try and dispute the charges but with how hard Costco is trying im not sure if either of those will work. Wouldn't be surprised if some people try and cancel their accounts then they get sent to collections lol. This is a really big shit show.

lucky for me I can afford to be rebilled and good thing I didn't do like 10k like some people

the 10k one wasnt in 1 transaction. It was multiple transaction but totaled upto 10k.

Yeah I heard that Costco could be done like 4 or 5 time, maybe that's why it went up to 10k

Refunders saying shit like "100% no chance of rebill" or dumb shit like that.

I got charged $800, not worried about it as i made a good profit of it

They rebill the exact amount that the item was worth. So if you refunded a $500 item from costco they rebill you for the cost of that item

From what I've seen on tele, it's pretty random right now. Someone got rebill for all their previous orders up to almost 10k. Some ppl only got rebill for couple hundreds out of thousands that they've done. Some ppl got their acc shutdown, some not.

Obviously this is just today so far. It's the holiday so they might have taken a break. God knows if next weeks comes we will see way more rebills and acc shutting down.
