[REQUESTTUT]Fake D3D menu?
Could some one please make a tutorial on a D3D menu, like the ones used in hacks?
It wont have hacks in it, of course.
It also needs to be topmost, so it will work for most games (Don't really care about FPS games), but every one knows topmost is blocked by most games, so I mainly need a topmost code that will work for a lot of games (Like Fable - The lost Chapters, for pc)
Isnt that made with C/C++?
I dont really think there is a working "topmost", you need directx to get it work...

Ask next

I can understand his pain, directx is really fucking hard to learn, c++ is enough on it's own
VB+DirectX

This is played out I know, but honestly you can do the same thing in VB as well. =/

Just learn some basics of DirectX then code a menu, your really not as limited by VB as you might think. I would use drawstring functions. And you will need to code a class to handle all the functions of a menu, such as navigation etc. Just code a DLL in VB, get the create a new D3D device pointer and ofcourse, create ur menu from there.

I can make my own menu, all I really need is the real topmost code
Thanks for the offer
Next asked me to make a tut on this.. but ive been to busy to work on it much. I spent some time on it the other day. but i kept loosing the device. ( if you know any directx you'll know what that means )
I truly am Extremely busy, I can participate and answer questions, but tuts will take me days. In 5 days my clients ASP application will be complete and I can get back to making tuts
@pixie
Google
xD
In my opinion, it's much easier in c++. But go for it.
