Visual Basic 6 Download?
i know this may be against the rules posting links from other sources, but I would like to post visual basic 6 from RS (**********) so that anyone looking for it may easily find it on this forum...

when i tried to find it very long time ago, it was so hard, and I'm sure many members would benefit if it were up here.

if you mods think it's against the rules, go ahead and delete this post... i just want to prevent myself from breaking the rules of this forum.

i hope you understand, cya.
It was blocked out, Rapid Share will be blocked automatically, ask a mod approval for an outside link (in this case why06) , Then use the URL bbcode (tag),

Secondly, Visual Basic 6,5,4,3,2,1 are a thing of the past, statistically 51% of college graduates are using windows (xp or greater for most) and that is your target when developing your software, it is optimal to use the .net framework in your development, also Express edition is free and fully functional, so you can legally licence your software, If you ever develop anything worth the time it took, wouldn't you like to know it's safe?

Just a few thoughts.
If I were you, I'd just go with VB.NET, whether VB08 or 05.

VB6 is already outdated, nobody uses it anymore.
vb06 s#ck, and it ain't freeware use vb08/.net ^^ like lolland said :P
ahh ok. i see...
Wats the diff between vb.net and vb 08 express

VB.NET = VB08 Express.
VB.net = Visual basic on steroids

VB 7 , 7.5 , 8, 9,10 = VB.NET
I dont like vb 6 or 2010. i am stuck with vb.net 2008
VB 08 is the best IMO, keep it.

You Don't Have VB 08, You Have VB 9

You have Visual basic .NET 2008 which is actually VB 9
