Ahhh.... Shit!
Well...

I fucked up bad this time...

My processor's heatsink/fan(which had been held on by twist ties for 6 months due to crappy motherboard, never buy HP ) worked well for gaming and stuff cause it never got too hot but when it overloaded due to a virus it got fried like a bitch...

BOTH of my hard drives got corrupted as shit and now won't even reformat.

And my BIOS is fucked too...

WORK! And then MONEY! And then I'm buying a nice new system.


The MINIMUM specs that I will buy on my next PC are:
64 bit AMD (anything fast as hell)
4 gigs of RAM
512MB Video Card(good brand, NEVER ATI)
300 gig Hard Drive(last one was 100)
60 gig linux drive running Operator linux(hacking version, with built in hacking/cracking software)

And, best of all, liquid cooling.

Estimated price: A SHIT-LOAD OF CASH cause I'm going all out this time. I'm tired of shitty computers...

AMD=POS
4 gig ram = going to be out done in the next few months
512 gfx,= Either get an ATI card for your AMD or else dont get a graphics card AMD+ati or Intel+Nvidia and why not just get the new 700+ cards out 768 i think with the Nvidia 8800 GTX
300 gig harddrive= weak go for a 1TB or more
Do what you want with the fag drive
Good Luck making it work, since it sounds like you've never built a computer, you know what i said above is more like going all out, make your own, its going to save you assloads of money

Yea lmao i read the post where u got that virus that 1 time. not sure if it was the one that did this to you. for christmas i hope to get a pretty new dell laptop. normaly i would get a desktop but i dont plan on gaming that much on this thing. in stead of posting a new thread ill just ask here, should i get xp or vista. there both the same price so what do you think would be the better operating system for me to get for my pc?

unless they get another Service pack out for Vista i say go for Windows MCE

Well, I'm not all too sure what I'm getting. Like I said(in all CAPS) that is the bare MINIMUM that I will get. What I get will be more like what you described.

And as for the XP vs Vista, DO NOT GET VISTA!!!!!! It sucks as it is now. Wait longer for the bugs to be fixed and make sure you have a shit-load of RAM because Vista needs lots and lots of RAM

yea i know xp is better now but when they update vista and it actualy becomes not shitty i will want it. then i gotta pay like 70$... fuck u microsoft

Well, I don't want to build my own. So where should I buy from. And NO I'm not buying a Dell. They piss me off so much it will be broke within a weekend.

Though, yes, I was looking towards alienware. I've seen how they perform and I've been around them a lot. They kick total ass! I've never seen anything wrong with them.
